THE BRIEF | More space, storage, an extra bathroom and beautiful floors

 

This project was an extension of an existing late 1960s weatherboard home. With the family growing, each longing for their own room, space was a necessity.

The existing home has great bones, with their kitchen and living area updated a few years prior. The objective was to now, extend on the existing home and give each family member their own bedroom.

The new extension included a spacious master bedroom, walk-in robe and ensuite. With the existing bedrooms reconfigured larger adding built in storage and new windows. The exterior paneling and new windows were matched to the existing home.

The completed project has provided the space they were longing for. A room for each of their children, a parent’s space to be in envy of and beautiful bamboo flooring throughout the whole home.
